    Well said..very true.

That is well said Mark — the key, of course, is to remember it!

Hi Lance, People are so worried about what others will think and about failing, that they’ll often refrain from acting and going after what they want. But as long as you’re acting you’re at the very least learning about what doesn’t work (like Thomas Edison and his 1,000 failed experiments). I definitely agree that it’s a better strategy to just put yourself out there.

Marelisa - great example about Edison. It can be hard to get over being self-conscious of what others will think, but we have to remember who it is that we’re trying to please - ourselves or others.

    Hi Lance,

This quote hits the nail on the head. I can’t count how many times we look back and say “woulda, shoulda, coulda…” Ah…..the school of hard knocks.

Barbara - yes, the school of hard knocks — hopefully we all learn something when we’re there!

I am at this cross road now. I have an opportunity that I know I will regret if I don’t take it - but it comes at an inconvenient time…

@Tom - I hear you, and that really can be a tough choice. I wish you luck and peace in making the decisions you’ll need to.
