@Davina – Feelings do go deep. And it’s important for us to remember that. It’s important for me to remember that. Daily.

@Bamboo Forest – That’s a great point – mastering our tongue. It’s our mouth that can easily get us in trouble, or cause hurt feelings. It’s a great point, and one that takes much effort on our part to think about the other person first. To remember they are just like us, with feelings, and desires. And that we can hurt them easily with our words if we are not careful.

@Ellen – Thank you for sharing about her book, I didn’t know about it. I’m sure it would be a great read about a very wise woman!

@Vered – That’s true, we do take from the relationship how they make us feel. And sometimes, I think these are the people we sometimes can hurt the most with our words. It’s a great reminder that our loved ones relationships are fragile, just like each of us. We are all easily bruised by hurt feelings.

@CG Walters – Your welcome! Life really is our experiences and the emotions we feel.

@Meleah – Thanks, it really is great!

@Chris – Right, people can be cruel or nice. I choose nice. Soaring like an eagle – what an awesome way to look at it. I’m sure you are making your students and your children soar!

As an educator, I’m always mindful of this fact. People can be cruel sometimes but they are also times when they can make you soar like an eagle. I’d like to think i’m the latter when it comes to dealing with my students and my own children.

@Mark – Yes, this really is a keeper – there’s a lot of wisdom in these words.

@Marelisa – Yes, I agree. There are certain people who just have a way about them – they always make you feel good. And these are the people I love to be around. And, yes, we can all create light – no matter what our past circumstances have been.

@Evelyn – Yes, this is a great quote.

@Rebecca – She is a very wise woman – and like you said, feelings are very important. I can learn much from reading this over and over.

@Stacey/CreataBalance – I really like this one too. It was new to me before yesterday. Yes, how do we make people feel with what we say and do? This is something we should think more about.

@Stacey – I love that – “it’s the experience that makes people feel good”! Our lives are a series of experiences, some of those good and some not so good. Those that are positive experiences make us feel good. And that’s what we want to come back to. Being that your business is based on an experience is awesome! Being able to provide an experience for others that makes them feel good (or great) is a wonderful life mission.

This is so true, which is why I’ve based my business on an “experience”. I get so much pleasure sharing information, but it’s the experience that makes people feel good and I love being able to provide that. This quote is a nice reminder that we are not alone here and we can make a difference.
