Beautiful! I love this sentence "One voice can speak with wisdom". One voice as powerful as Jesus Christ, can change the lives of billions of people forever.

@Suddenly Slimmer - Yes, it is the simple things, sometimes, that count the most!

@Wendi - I know! This is great, when I first saw it - I knew this was perfect material for a Sunday Thought. Glad you enjoyed it, too, Wendi!

@Ricardo - Hey, thanks Ricardo! I'm liking how it turned out too! I'll send you an email...

@Diane - Thanks so much for stopping by Diane! And, thank you for your very kind words - they mean much to me! I love this poem, too. It's such a great reminder of what each of us, individually, can do.

@Angel - No, you are certainly not least Angel!! Not by a longshot! Okay, so the poem - I'll take the credit (I did pick it out!) - although the blog header - I couldn't have done it without you! And, it's a perfect example of this poem in action. You, Angel! You are the reason this header is the way it is - I know - know - that it would not be the same had you not spent the time you did helping me through the many iterations I had. And, in the end - I love the way it has turned out. Because of YOU! So, your welcome - about the gentle reminder. Although, it's me who needs to thank YOU - because you showed me the real value of this poem - through your actions, your help, your kindness...

I'm last but certainly not least!

Lance, your sure know how to pick great ones (poems, videos, blog headers).

This one is good. We get so caught up in this "jungle of life" (where have I heard that phrase before), that we forget that we are important and that we can make a difference.

Thanks for the gentle reminder.

@Barbara - Thank you (times 2!) - from you, Barbara, that means alot!

@Brandi - Your welcome! YES! One can be small, medium, big - it doesn't matter - every "one" thing we do can make a difference!

@Bobbi - Well said Bobbi! "Even though" we are each only one - we ARE still one - and that's all it takes to start something!

@Meleah - Your welcome!

@Toni - It's a very neat series you're doing Toni, and featuring Tammy - she is pretty amazing! Thanks for stopping by here today!

@Avtcoach - Being a "light" - I love that! We all, individually, can be that "light" to someone else - us, as ONE - we can make a difference - and not only for another, but also for ourselves in the process...

I agree with this and I think it's our primary mission for being on this earth..to be a light to someone and make a difference. To be the ONE to give hope and share live. Those who love life and are happy tend to be the ONES who do this! Thanks for the poem!

hi lance! thanks for stopping by and saying hi on my blog!!

I love the poem. And I love the realization I've had as I've gotten
older that the ONE thing does not have to be grandiose. Amazing things
start with small steps.

wonderful.

@GroundedFitness - Your welcome!

@Squawkfox - Your welcome, too!!

@Jennifer - One thing can do so much - even when we think it's "nothing", or "inconsequential". And who knows what that one small thing might lead to. It's a win-win, isn't it, Jennifer! And how can you argue with that...

@Jannie - Yes...snow - very cool - especially for summer! Now, if I can just all of that white stuff out of my driveway that we have today...not so cool...in the not so true sense of the meaning!

@Annette - Thanks Annette, I like how the redesign turned out, too! Glad you enjoyed the poem, as well. Enjoy your December!!

@Caroline - Just one - what difference can just one make? Sometimes, it seems like not very much - but the truth is quite the opposite. Even when we may not see the results right away - it doesn't mean "just one" is not having an effect. It's a good reminder for us all!

@Sagan - Potential and opportunities -- two things that "one" can do - all it takes is doing/being that "one"!

@Stephanie - Thanks Stephanie, glad you enjoyed it!

@Stacey Shipman - I think we've all felt that way, where what difference will "I" make. And, the real key - the end of what you said - you put a bunch of "ones" together and great things can happen! Or even greater things can happen (great things can also happen with just "one" also...). Anyway, here's to every"one" being, doing, and believing...

@Marelisa - It's like taking small steps, or bite-sized tasks on. By breaking things down into smaller pieces, everything seems more do-able. Great point, Mare - looking at the one thing we can do now to move us toward whatever our end goal is...
