Rationally I have been aware for awhile that all the little steps in life or in pursuit of my goals do make up my actual life. There is no end result with a sign saying "This is your life", well no until I get really famous anyway. But emotionally I still do look at what is between me and my desires as something to knock out of the way or accomplish, rather than another part of life to enjoy. I think we can all live better if we keep this quote in mind. Thanks. Kelly :) I have never read this quote before, but what a powerful message for me. Days where out motivation sags, or that we're not energized. And sometimes, that means just resting. And sometimes it means pumping ourselves up. So, here is to "doing" Henie - whatever that is - rest, some project, whatever.. Thanks for stopping back in! @Glad - Sometimes a moment like that is a big "ah-ha" moment. And other times, it's more of a gradual thing over time. And in the end, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you have found that place - where the NOW is it. How important to remember that we have limitations, that we can't do everything. And in some things it is best to "flow" past them instead of taking on something that is only going to beat us up. You just have one." I think the same thing is true about life. There are always that get in the way to doing what we really want to do. I have always wanted to start my own business and now I have done it. I love it! I am creating a list of all the things I want to do and am working to check them all off. Some of these things I always thought, "Oh that is what other people do, and not regular folk like me." Then I decided that was crap. Why can't I do these things? One of the things I want to do is learn to fly an ultra light plane. That is the thing I am saving for next. I think it was totally rock!
