Hi Lance,
How perfectly put! I like that!
That’s beautiful, Lance. The picture, the words, everything.
I love that!
I agree with this, largely. It underscores the importance of attitude.
Yeah, a lot of people ruin their talent by not putting it to use properly. There is no substitute for attitude!
Beautiful words. Beautiful picture!
Niiiiiiiice words & photo. 🙂
Now that’s the right attitude! And the right image to go with it…
You can’t get anywhere in life if you don’t have the right attitude/mindset to tackle life’s challenges.
Nice thought for the day!!
Thanks for sharing,
Evelyn
Very nice!
I guess that’s why they say that at the end of the day it’s your emotional intelligence that will determine how far you get, even if you’re brilliant in your chosen field.
So, I was taking piano lessons a couple of years ago, and I would practice every night and think I had the song under control. I would go to the lessons and my fingers would trip all over the place. I thought about it and realized it was because I felt I needed to play the song perfectly. I then gave myself a figurative smack about the head and asked myself why on earth was I taking lessons if I thought I could play songs perfectly? At the next lesson, I let go of the need to be perfect, and ended up playing the songs much better than ever. I had let go of my emphasis on aptitude, changed my attitude, and gained serious altitude.
Thanks everyone! I’m realizing this myself more and more every day.
I love this quote which doesnt surprise me—–what DOES is that Ive liked Zig for about 16 years now (!) when so many other passions/people Ive admired have come and gone.
@MizFit – Zig seems to have been around for a long time, hasn’t he?
