Last summer I had to attend a wedding the day after the funeral of two very close friends of mine who died tragically way too young in a car accident. While I went with a very heavy heart and red eyes, I felt it was so important to affirm life by celebrating as best I could, and even more so under those circumstances. It wasn't easy, but I wasn't sorry to be a witness to the love and new life beginning for this couple. It is indeed a never-ending circle! My granmother passed away earlier today after a long struggle with old age. Later I am going to my neice's first birthday party. At first it seems uncomfortable to me to go to a party but then I realized that the Circle of Life is an existence of Nature and Spirt, especially in this case. So I will be going and I will be celebrating not only my neice's birthday but also my grandmother's long life.
