Thanks for sharing the quote. Morrie Shwartz was an awesome teacher. I remember watching his story on ABC’s Nightline before he passed away…one of the most touching things I’ve ever seen. BTW, Lance I really like your new header and tagline.

I was playing around with the header, and just loved the mountain scene when I was trying that out…and then, the whole thought of the tagline just came about. And it felt so right. So, know that your noticing this means the world to me! Sami, you are a great friend, and it’s an honor always to have you here!

@Tabitha — Hi Tabitha. Your heart shines, and I’ve witnessed that in the many beautiful ways you give so freely. So…we all have moments where we feel like we’ve “lost it”. And that is the beauty of generosity and love working in tandem. Opening our heart when we have those feeling that aren’t so positive…Tess, I love this idea. I know this could be hard for me to do, too. Still, even if it only works 1/3 of the time, that’s still better than none. Awesome! And thanks much for sharing our your family experience growing up. The prayer you shared did make me laugh out loud!!!

@Lori — Hi Lori. Well…the truth is, sometimes a quote or picture comes quickly, and I just know it’s the right one to use. More often, though, it’s a look at what my heart is saying to me, at that moment, and then trying to find something that matches that. And that’s not always easy. It is, though, always worth it. Because I believe that when I can connect deeply with what I’m sharing, that’s the right place for me, and maybe this sounds weird, but I also think that other people somehow connect onto that…like there’s some sort of bond between your heart and mine, when these words are read by you. And that’s very moving for me…whether it really happens or not, in my heart, it does. And Lori, thank you for sharing about your own personal journey over this past year. What a beautiful story of your year! Lori, thank you so much for being here, and for giving all that you do — you are an amazing woman!

@Evita — Hi Evita. When we do things from the love within our heart, beautiful things happen. And that is indeed gold, and even more! Because it’s so real, and so alive within us, this feeling of love — how connecting that is to our soul. And I really loved this photo too, especially with the light shining through the clouds — like the love shining from our hearts. And thank you, so much, for all you’ve said about the changes to the header. It wasn’t even something I thought about and planned out, so much, as I just really listened to my heart in bringing it together. And then the tagline just flowed so freely once I connected with the image I was going to use. And I knew…as soon as I wrote it, that it’s what the tagline should be, for me — with where I’m at right now. Thank you, very deeply, for your caring and kind thoughts…

@Stacey Shipman — Thanks much, Stacey! And thank you, very deeply, for your comments on the header changes. It’s interesting how it all happened. I decided to play around with some changes, not sure exactly where I’d go with it. And I was bouncing ideas around, solid colors, photos, jungle, etc, etc. And I wasn’t finding anything I really liked. Then I decided to just look through some of our own pictures, and the Mount Rainier photo really jumped out at me…and then almost instantly, so did the idea to change the tagline. And it just all seemed “right” and “good”… So, thank you, very much for noticing!
