This post is dedicated to a dear friend, Amy Pratt, known here as Bella. Amy was a regular visitor, and even more than that — someone who brought much joy and love to every place she touched, especially in my heart. Amy, you had a beautiful gift of reaching out and seeing the good, and in touching on something deeper in all of that. You will be deeply missed, wonderful friend. Keep dancing in the heavens.

Dancing seems to be a big thing for you at the moment. And I think it can mean so many things.
Having gone through the loss of my dear cousin recently, I know exactly where you are now.
These things make us realize how precious life is and how fast it can be over. They tell us to do the things we love NOW, to tell the people we care about that we love them NOW, to stop worrying about the unimportant. For that, I am grateful for such events. Sadness is a learning curve too. And a healing one.
I hope you dance. I hope all the video car dances you receive make you smile.

Thank you for sharing this very nice tribute to Amy. I’ve never heard this song before, but it has some very powerful lyrics and is the perfect choice. I know all of us have the opportunity to meet some great people here in the blogosphere. Some people might say our online connections are not as meaningful as in-person connections. I say that everyone contributes a great deal of energy when we visit each other’s blogs and I know this is a loss that is most definitely felt. I wish the best to Amy’s family and to you, as well.
