@Sara — Hi Sara. This idea of “we are energy” is something I believe with my whole being, even more every day. And that’s an energy that really brought Jenny and I together, even though we were physically separated by distance. Is this a two-way experience? While I can only answer from my perspective — which was very deeply a calming peace — my belief is that Jenny, at some level, also felt some added calm in her life at that moment, too. I know that in talking with her, I really do sense a level of calm that very much is filled with a sense of peace…

I loved the line you kept repeating, “We are energy.” As such, it makes sense that when we connect at a deep level, that energy is shared. I don’t even believe we need touch. I believe our brains are wired to help us heal each other; we just have to learn how to open these energies channels between us. It sounds like that what happened for you while working with Jenny.

I was interested in Jenny’s comment in which she said, “I have had several people tell me since my reconnective healing experiences that I just SEEM calmer and more at ease.” That seems to show that this type of energy is a two-way experience. What a joy for Jenny and for you.

What an amazing experience. We are energy and so much more. I used this technique after a surgery I had. I was in/out of that hospital within an hour.. I was 100% within a few days. I truly believe in our own healing powers. I WANTED to be healed and that was my focus.

Thanks for sharing your experience here and opening up to something new. I’m no expert on energy or even the vibrations that radiate from us. To me that is a mystery. But yet, I believe that its there somewhere, somehow. I am a big believer in the connection of mind and body and know that I’ve had a lot of attention given to me at my chiropractor…getting adjustments, deep tissue massages and Reiki treatments. These things all heal me not just physically but mentally, as well. The magic of touch. There’s something to it, but as the Who once said, I can’t explain. Thanks, again for sharing your thoughts on healing.

Early in my adult life I observed the effects of positive vs negative thought (as energy) in a roomful of people. And was amazed — so of course I read what I could about it. And then just continued to observe. And attempt to take note of such energies before settling in anywhere. (I do much better in highly-energized, positive atmospheres than negative ones. Or in a calm yet passively-positive atmosphere. I jealously guard my quiet, metaphoric walk-in-the-garden times.)

It all sounds a bit esoteric, doesn’t it? My mom raised me with many missives, this being one: Don’t limit the possibilities of God. Or try to recreate him in your own image.

So I don’t.….….

@Jan — Hi Jan. Thank you so much for sharing this deeper level of really making this peace be a true and lasting peace. It DOES make sense. And as I read about “spiritual practice”, I’m drawn to really this idea that we have to slow down and connect back to something greater. I suppose there really are a number of ways to do this, and whatever works for us individually is the “right” place for each of us to be. For me, I think this has to be a very personal experience. Jan, this is so good to read…and think about. The peace I am feeling is something I very much want to hold onto. And your words are touching upon how truly good that can be, especially when it is very personal and meaningful to us. Thank you so much for this gift you’ve shared here today.

And then, to think — of all the cells within our being — and how they can all work together — and the energy that creates! Thinking like that, I am in awe of our magnificent bodies, and all that they are! And as I read your words here today, I’m drawn in to this idea of fear. What is it we are afraid of? And what energy do we give off with those fears? And do they hold us back from something greater? And could they even hold others back, too — as our energy affects others? Your words are really just bringing up so many thoughts, and how important this healing process is. I’ll check out the book you shared, thanks so much for the recommendation. And thank you, especially for your beautiful and caring friendship.

And as I think more deeply about that, I’m drawn to ways of really activating that energy…harnessing it’s power, and connecting even more with all that this energy really can mean. @Nadia — Hi Nadia. And it’s not as if I was “at peace” before my session with Jenny, because I really was. It’s just that this peace is at an even deeper level. And that is what has been so good about this. Choice. Yes, we always have a choice…what are we putting out there? And thinking about that on an even greater scale…and to how our choices can affect others, too — I just find this so incredibly connecting (and it makes me really want to focus on those good and happy vibes!). And the Beach Boys “Good Vibrations” song!! Nadia, that is so fitting!! I love it!

@Lisa — Hi Lisa. Had I thought about this even just a year ago…it would have all seemed a bit out there for me. Yet, on this journey through life, I’ve come to a place today where I am open to the belief that there is so, so much we don’t understand. And as such, being open to new thought, new idea, new ways of being.…is a wonderful place to be. And it feels good to be in this place. @Hilary — Hi Hilary. This first came up for the this past fall, in a different exercise I was part of. And in that, I felt the energy within my body like I never have before. When the session was finished, I was exhausted mentally and physically, and yet at the same time, the right brain side of me was awake in ways I had also never experienced. The energy within us is so amazingly powerful!
